Protecting Children in Haiti

Save The Children have set up child friendly spaces in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake.

Child trafficking was a big problem in Haiti long before the devastating earthquake. The problem is likely to get much worse, without the necessary border controls in place, there's an increased risk children will be taken out of the country. Save The Children have set up a network of Child Friendly Spaces in displacement camps where children can play safely and where they are properly protected. http://www.savethechildren.org.uk/en/10181.htm
