Chirinos
CAC La Prosperidad de Chirinos was among the 1st to supply CaféDirect with coffee in 1991.
In the province of San Ignacio in northern Peru, there are over 4.5 thousand small families of coffee growers in the two districts that make up CAC La Prosperidad de Chirinos. With the support from Twin and CaféDirect, the economic stability of the regions has improved, now 80% of exported coffee is organic, and the social fund for its members offers health and educational benefits for the communities.
